The HB1416 Intervention sub-product is designed to support compliance with the requirements outlined in HB1416 (House Bill 4545) by providing a comprehensive system to track and document interventions for students who are not meeting grade-level expectations.
Teachers using this sub-product can create individualized intervention plans for students who did not meet grade level the previous year. These plans include essential information such as parent/guardian contact details, a plan of action, and the focus on specific Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for the current year.
Within the intervention plan, teachers have the ability to upload relevant documents, such as supporting resources or materials. They can also add notes to capture additional details about the intervention plan, ensuring comprehensive documentation.
The module also includes a log feature to track the actual implementation of each intervention. Teachers can record information such as the instructional teacher, session time, date, and notes for each intervention session. The system maintains a running total of sessions and time spent, allowing teachers to monitor progress toward the Accelerated Instruction Time goal of 30 hours.
As interventions progress, the system automatically updates the status of each plan. Once the total time spent on interventions reaches the goal of 30 hours, the status will change to "complete" indicating that the required intervention time has been fulfilled.
To ensure accuracy and accountability, the intervention plan includes spaces for teacher, parent, and witness signatures, if applicable, acknowledging agreement and participation in the intervention process.
The HB1416 Intervention sub-product simplifies and streamlines the tracking and documentation of interventions, helping schools and educators meet the requirements outlined in HB1416 and effectively support students who need additional assistance in meeting grade-level expectations.
